Today is a new day!
With each new day comes new strength and new thoughts.
Eleanor Roosevelt
Today is a new day, a day that has never been seen before and will never be seen again. Take the opportunity to seize the wonder and uniqueness of this very day; it's yours to make it extraordinary. Remember that it is not how you start your journey but how you finish the road that leads you.
Today is the day that counts, so have a good attitude of heart and have endurance and courage. The word endurance is the ability or strength to continue or last, especially despite tiredness, stress or other adverse conditions; to stand one's ground, or to be steadfast. It's the endurance that does not lose hope.
Many will feel out of their comfort zone, especially when they are not used to studying, and spending time away from their loved ones.
The Bible teaches us that we must trust God and endure. God is faithful and He says in His word He will never leave us or forsake us. We must remain in Christ, stand firm, and continue to do the work that God has called us to do as police officers. Don't ever give up, because really today is all we have.
Psalm 118:24
"The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad."
