Today is all we have!

Written by Dr C Le Roux

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.

Bil Keane

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

We should live this day as if it will be our last. Remember that you will only find tomorrow on the calendars. Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. today is the day of salvation; it is all you have. Make it the best day of the year.

For the saddest words one can ever utter are, "If I had my life to live over again." So, take the baton now and run with it. This is your day. Treat everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, with love and care, kindness and understanding and do it with no thought of any reward.

Life is short, don't waste time worrying about what people think of you. Hold on to the ones that care, in the end they will be the only ones there.

Our Thoughts become our words. Therefore, it is vitally important that we choose life-giving thoughts.

Rejoice while you are alive and make the most of what you have. It is later than you think.

Deuteronomy 30:19

"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live."
